TERMS, PILLARS AND MANDATORY OF HAJJ


Terms, Rukun (Pillars) and Mandatory Of Hajj 
A. Mandatory Hajj Requirements Conditions of pilgrimage are conditions that must be fulfilled by a person so he is required to perform the pilgrimage, and anyone who does not meet one of these conditions, then he is not yet required to perform the pilgrimage. The requirements of the pilgrimage are as follows: 
1. Islam 
2. Understanding 
3. Baligh (adult)
4. Free 
5. Able 

B. Pillars of Hajj The definition of the pilgrimage is an activity that must be done in the pilgrimage, and if not done his hajj is not legitimate. The pillars of Hajj are as follows: 
1. Ihram 
Ihram, the statement began to perform the pilgrimage or umroh by wearing ihram clothes with the intention of hajj or umroh in miqat. 
2. Wukuf 
Wukuf in Arafat, ie silence, dhikr and praying in Arafat on 9 Zulhijah. 
3. Tawaf Ifadah Tawaf Ifadah, which surrounds the Ka'bah 7 times, done after throwing the Aqabah on 10 Zulhijah. 
4. Sa'i 
Sa'i, ie walking or running between Shafa and Marwah 7 times, is done after Tawaf Ifadah. 
5. Tahallul 
Tahallul, ie shave or cut hair after performing Sa'i. 
6. Orderly 
Orderly, ie doing activities in sequence and nothing left. 

C. Compulsory Hajj Mandatory Hajj is a series of activities that must be done in the pilgrimage as a complementary Pillars of Hajj, if one of the pilgrimage is abandoned, then the hajj remains valid, but must pay dam (fine). Which includes mandatory Hajj is: 
1. Intention Ihram, for hajj or umrah from Miqat Makani, done after dressed ihram. 
2. Mabit (overnight) at Muzdalifah, on 9 Zulhijah (on the way from Arafat to Mina). 
3. Throwing Jumrah Aqabah, on 10 Zulhijah by throwing seven grains in a row by raising hands on every throw pebble while saying, "Allahu Akbar, Allahummaj 'alhu hajjan mabruran wa zanban magfura (n)". Every pebble has to go into the great pit of the abyss. 
4. Mabit in Mina, on Tasyrik day (11th, 12th and 13th of Zulhijah). 
5. Throwing Jumrah Ula, Wustha and Aqabah, on Tasyrik day (11th, 12th and 13th of Zulhijah). 
6. Tawaf Wada ', ie performing tawaf farewell before leaving the city of Mecca. 
7. Abandoning the prohibited act during ihram.
