Read Fâtihah's letter in every rakaat is one part of the Pillars of Prayer if not able to read the letter Fâtihah, because new converts to Islam for example, then the alternative must read seven other verses whose number of letters is not less than the number of letters contained in the letter Fâtihah. If not able to read seven other verses altogether, then must read seven kinds of dhikr or prayer with the number of letters that if not less than the number of letters Fâtihah letter. If not able to read seven kinds of dhikr or prayer, then it must stand (silence) in time which is approximately enough to read Fâtihah. For one who is only able to read part of the Fâtihah's letter, he must repeat it until the number of letters is no less than the number of letters contained in the Fâtihah letter.
The reading of Fâtihah's letter must be in accordance with the order of verses contained in the Qur'an. In addition, also must be sustainable (muwâlat). That is, must read continuously between one sentence with the next sentence, not separated by silence, or read dhikr that has nothing to do with prayer. Another case if the dividing dhikr is still associated with prayer, such as reading "Midnight" in Fajtihah for mengamini reading Fâtihah imam.
Silence can affect the continuity (muwâlat) Fâtihah, if done in a long time without any udzur. Or pause, but it is intended to break the reading. If the silence for forgetting the reading of Fâtihah or not knowing that muwâlat is obligatory, then the law is okay, either the silence time is long or briefly, because it is considered udzur.
The reading of the Fâtihah must be complete, it should sound the number of tasydîdnya there are 14, also pronounce the letter correctly (according to the makhraj / where the letter out). Do not let any of the letters be omitted from Fâtihah's letter, or alter the passage of the letter causing its meaning to be incorrect.
